Control your body odor, with controller soap.

Yes, finally a geeky way to keep yourself clean, and have a serious shot with the opposite sex.

Etsy seller DigitalSoaps has you covered with one of their awesomely hygienic products. PlayStation controllers and my favorite the classic NES controller.

These things are quite geeky, and rather well priced so grab some hand crafted soapy love, while you can.
The soap bases are all natural and no animal testing of any kind is preformed. So give these things a shot.

dsi_america

The DSi is already available in Japan and will be available in the U.S. April 5th for $170.

It will not be available in white, or it would seem at launch anyway, but in black and blue. So if you arent a fan of that blue color, pre-order!

Halo wedding goes off with a hitch.

Posted on 06 February 2009

haloweddingMTV News coverd an interesting wedding in Orlando, FL recently. They were there to catch a Full Sail gradutes wedding on film, a Halo themed wedding. The wedding was a part of this year’s Otronicon festival, an annual video game festival sponsored by Full Sail University. They were ceremoniously united as “Teamates for life” by Master Chief himself. The bride and groom even went head to head in a tournament while the bridesmaids and groomsmen competed for the garter and veil.

Shower your baby with the Sith

Posted on 03 February 2009

It's a girl, with Darth Vader

Vader has a bad reputation as a dead beat dad, which he may have been but he will certainly be happy to appear on a cake for your latest child’s baby shower. Hey don’t say the guy never did anything to help you. That must have been where he was headed to, the shower to welcome some geeks child into the world in fashion.

Ridin in an actual Warthog

Posted on 03 February 2009

weta_alistairguns1

When the Official XBOX Mag decided to send one of thier guys to New Zealand to ride around in the one off Warthog reproduction from the scrapped Peter Jackson Halo film, he could hardly belive it. This thing looks pretty wicked, I can hardly get over how much the details and the paint scheme look almost rendered. It is quite an amazing piece of art. I really like the shot below you can see some of the amazing detail work.weta_alistairdrives7So unless this movie is actually made someday this thing is likely to just hang around as a showpiece. Shame, because it is one bad-ass vehicle.

Finally, a functional lightsaber.

Posted on 30 January 2009

Here is a lightsaber that actually works, as an umbrella, of course not as an actual lightsaber.

lightbrella-4

Have you been looking for a great excuse to carry a fake lightsaber with you everywhere you go? For around forty dollars you can be dry and alone under one of these fantastic umbrellas.

You should probably get one from here.

Software

Can’t solve a Rubik’s Cube, there’s an app for that.

Posted on 27 January 2009

Eric Faller has released Cube Cheater on to the app store, which will allow you to look quite genious. All you have to do is take a picture of your cubes current state and then the magic Kociemba algorithm goes to action on solving your cube. According to the developer, “Cube Finder finds optimal or near optimal solutoins in only a few seconds. Even a really mixed-up cube only takes around 20 turns to solve, vs. hundreds with a human algorithm.” But wait, there’s more!

If you have a solved cube you can input any patteren you like and Cube Finder will help you reach it. All you have to do is input the patteren with the color pallate method of input, and solve in reverse. I just find it amazing the range of apps on the app store, now I can finally solve a Rubik’s Cube, you can too!

WiFi Paint, blocks neighboors from stealing wireless signal, your thoughts.

Posted on 27 January 2009

wifipaintScientists at the university of Tokyo have developed a new paint that is designed to block higher frequency elctromagnetic waves, like those found in WiFi. This isnt exactly new technology, we have been blocking cell phones for a while, but the ability to block the higher frequency waves from free loaders who might want to use your wireless connection.

This stuff should run around $50 a gallon, but can you really put a price on privacy.
