Vader has a bad reputation as a dead beat dad, which he may have been but he will certainly be happy to appear on a cake for your latest child’s baby shower. Hey don’t say the guy never did anything to help you. That must have been where he was headed to, the shower to welcome some geeks child into the world in fashion.

a del Sol? Oh, man, Vader and his cohorts roll in sweet rides and this is what the republic gets. Oh well. What are you gonna do. I can say this thing has a lot of man hours and just goes to show how resourceful those rebels can be.

Here is a lightsaber that actually works, as an umbrella, of course not as an actual lightsaber.
Have you been looking for a great excuse to carry a fake lightsaber with you everywhere you go? For around forty dollars you can be dry and alone under one of these fantastic umbrellas.
You should probably get one from here.

On twitter anyway. There are some clever comments and remarks on there, funny to see someone take the character online in this sense. Good stuff.

Linhbergh, of Kinod.net posted this pic yesterday, and it begs the question, what kind of ride would a Jedi have? It doesnt get much more evil than an Ariel Atom, so what righteous vehicle would a Jedi travel in?
This pic was also featured on jalopnik.com yesterday, which led me to find this picture as well. A storm trooper in an Elise. The dark side has some serious rides.

It would appear that these images are making the rounds on the web, and here is some resulting funny business.

Like browsing the web? Like eating hot food fresh from the oven? Well here you go. These “clicking oven mitts”, which arent clicking, maybe its the grab hand. I suppose the clicking hand would have made an awkward potholder, wither way they will be available soon from Bazar Design.

Some of you may not get this. The amount of calculations happening behind the scenes here is absolutely nuts. Imagine the computer used to figure this out it must be impressive.
Maybe not. But whoever registered this domain is brilliant.

Etsy seller CarolinaPatchworks can provide you with this sweet quilt to keep you warm with some of your favorite childhood characters.
Although, the chic geek comfort will cost you $450, who can really put a price on something like this? Carolina Patchworks I suppose.

I am wondering how this guy thinks this is going to work.
It is a mouse kite, …cool. How do you think this is going to go?
“Hey ladies look at my amazing kite?”
No, it won’t go anything like that.

Although this may seem quite the opposite of what many scientists(and any one else who works with incompetent machines) have been saying for years, it is apparently true.
Brendan Gregg of Sun’s Fishworks lab has posted a video to YouTube showing that taking the dominate role to your disks can, if expressed with sufficient volume in front of a rack full of disks, can cause a spike in disk latency.

I seriously wonder about the free time some people have. This is insane and how many are owned by one single person? How many times did it take to get this right? And why can’t I stop watching?
